Edward C. Bixler
Edward C. Bixler joined the firm in 1956 after graduating from Colgate University and completing his Air Force tour of duty as a 2nd Lieutenant. He holds the GRI, CRS, and CRB, designations in Real Estate, has served seven times as President of the Arlington Kearny Board of Realtors, President of the NJAR Educational Foundation in 1976, Vice President of NJAR in 1986 and 1987, and taught real estate at Kearny Adult School for six years. He was President of the West Hudson Kiwanis Club in 1967, served as Kiwanis Key Club advisor at Kearny High School from 1969 to 1974 and as Key Club Chairman for all of Hudson County, was a director of the West Hudson South Bergen Boys Club of America and assistant Scout master of Troop 13B5A. Ed is a participant of the Optimist Club of Kearny, is active in the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, serving as Elder-Trustee and is the longest continuous active member of their choir. He is a Gold Tohen member of Coperstone Lodge. He and his wife Peg, the former Margaret Geratorex, recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
